Our Story

It all started with a dad who let his boy bunk school one day. Theirs is a love affair for leather and stitch and cedar chips piled underneath the planer. So that morning they ran their hands over leather hides and stuck their noses into offcuts in the leather shop, and thought up an excuse to buy sharp tools. 

One year later, KT Leather is now a full family-run business. Somewhere in the design-to-market process, all five of our clan have helped to stitch and market the high quality, 100% leather, custom-crafted wallets you see today. Each design has been tried, tested and tweaked over time, so that today we can offer you a product that marries style with simplicity, form with functionality.

In addition, a portion of profit from each KT Leather wallet goes towards the education of underprivileged children, starting with our little Katie in Zimbabwe for whom the business is named.

The Monty

Introducing the Monty! This bad boy is the latest of our creations, offering you “3C capability” (credit, cash, coin) while maintaining our signature style and simplicity. The brass snaps add a distinctive finishing while ensuring your mullah stays safely sealed. Hand stitched, top quality 100% leather. 

The Duo

The Duo is one of our most popular designs. Clients say it gives them the functionality they need, the snug and compact size their back pockets are looking for, and a quality that is uncompromising. Honest and uncomplicated - nice.

The Slyde

This is KT Leather's very first design. It's incredibly functional, thanks to the insert on back and front, which allows your thumb to easily slide those stubborn cards out. The middle pouch will also hold your cash snug and safe.
